Mark Tozer has spent his entire life involved with the outdoors. At an early age he was introduced to rock climbing amongst the Peak District outcrops and a school trip to North Wales in 1983 began his passion for mountaineering. Since then the outdoors has become an integral part of Marks career as well as his first love on a day off. These days he equally enjoys the various aspects of paddle sports along with being in the mountains, either on foot or on skis. Through work and play Mark has been fortunate enough to have applied his skills as a practitioner in outdoor learning throughout the UK, Europe, America and New Zealand. In addition to this Mark has participated in and lead expeditions to Norway, Iceland, Alaska, Greenland, Kenya, Ecuador, Tanzania and Morocco. Over the years he has steadily gained senior instructional awards in mountaineering and paddlesport as well as gaining qualified teacher status. In The Mountains
